Infrastructure, noun: the basic, underlying framework or features of a system

Infra, meaning below, structure is a series of photographs exploring some of our society’s largest investments in civic building from below. By showing these systems from a perspective never meant to be experienced as everyday users I hope to objectify the structures; removing bias and story and simply show these systems as the objects they are. I hope these images help to reorient ourselves to the places we build and how we move throughout them.
